Privacy Notice

Effective October 17, 2026 · Seller: Tyler Carter

1. Who controls your data

Tyler Carter operates Ask Tyler and is the data controller for personal data used to provide this fantasy football Q&A service. You do not need a viewer account to submit a question. For privacy requests, use the contact details below.

2. What we collect and why

  • Your social username, selected platform, question, player choices, league settings, and optional notes: to manage the queue and answer questions, based on providing the requested service and our legitimate interest in operating a live Q&A.
  • Question identifiers, submission times, response status, payment transaction identifiers, and priority confirmation: to manage queue order and, for historical purchases only, resolve payment problems and prevent fraud, based on contract performance, legitimate interests, and legal obligations where applicable.
  • Contact details and messages you send for support: to respond to requests, resolve complaints, and exercise privacy rights, based on legitimate interests, contract performance, or legal obligations.
  • Host sign-in credentials and session data: to restrict host access and protect the queue, based on our legitimate interest in security. These are not requested from ordinary viewers.
  • IP addresses, device and browser information, request logs, and error information: may be processed by hosting and service providers for website delivery, reliability, diagnostics, and abuse prevention, based on legitimate interests.

Where we rely on consent for optional processing, you may withdraw it. Do not submit sensitive personal information or other people’s private data in a question.

3. Questions are public

Your username, platform, question, league details, and notes may be visible to other website visitors and discussed on Tyler’s TikTok and YouTube streams or recordings. Payment details are not displayed in the public question queue. Public streams and third-party recordings may remain available independently of the website.

4. Who receives data

  • Hosting, database, authentication, security, diagnostics, and support providers, including Lovable Cloud and its infrastructure providers, as needed to run the service.
  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, only for previous purchases, tax compliance, invoicing, fraud prevention, and refunds. Ask Tyler no longer accepts payments. Paddle processes historical checkout information under its own privacy notice; Ask Tyler does not receive your full payment-card details.
  • TikTok and YouTube when questions are discussed on streams, and Google Fonts for delivery of website fonts; their own privacy terms apply to their services.
  • Professional advisers, such as legal or accounting advisers, when necessary, and authorities where disclosure is required by law.

5. Retention and security

Questions and responses are retained as needed to operate the queue, handle follow-up requests and disputes, and maintain service records. Support records are retained while needed to resolve requests; transaction-related records may be kept longer to meet accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations. Records are deleted or anonymized when no longer needed, subject to legal requirements and backup retention.

We use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls for host and payment operations. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and browser storage

Ask Tyler uses essential browser storage to remember your username, your submitted question identifiers, and host session where applicable. The hosting providers may also use essential cookies or storage for security and service delivery. The question form does not add optional advertising or analytics cookies.

You can clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings; doing so may remove remembered questions or interrupt host access. If optional analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, consent will be requested where required and preference controls will be provided. External services linked from this site have their own cookie controls.

7. International processing and your rights

Service providers may process data in countries outside your own, including outside the UK or EEA. Where required, international transfers must use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your data; object to processing based on legitimate interests; and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. UK and EEA users may also complain to their supervisory authority. We respond to applicable GDPR requests within one month, subject to legally permitted extensions. We may need limited information to verify your request. Deleting website data cannot automatically remove independent third-party recordings.

8. Contact and changes

For service questions, privacy requests, or intellectual-property complaints, contact Tyler Carter at @tylercarterff on TikTok. Do not post payment information or sensitive personal details publicly.
